continued growth through twitter
Twitter Blog Post #2
On this Blog Post, I will be talking about my continued experience with Twitter. My Twitter experience since my first checkpoint has been consistent. However, as I got familiar with Twitter I started participating more and more. Throughout this time on Twitter, I have gained more knowledge about the education world, and also, learned how creative professional educators really are. Additionally, seeing the different tweets from professional educators gave me great ideas to hopefully one day implement in my future classroom.
In addition, one of my favorite things on twitter is Edutopia. Edutopia provides insightful information to help professional educators become more effective in classroom settings. I’ve learned so much from Edutopia and I hope to implement some of the many ideas that they shared in my future classroom. Another one of my favorite things on Twitter is Flipgrid. Flipgrid is the leading video discussion platform used by millions of educators around the country. Flipgrid is an amazing tool that brings the back row to the front and lets children of all ages voice their opinions, and respect the diverse voices of others. I follow Flipgrid on Twitter, and they provide interesting and helpful content to help teachers all over the world have a unique and effective way to teach students. For that reason, Flipgrid became one of the most useful and most beneficial resources that Twitter provided for me.
Furthermore, due to the unusual circumstance of COVID-19, there have been brilliant ideas on twitter that help professional educators enhance students’ educational experiences. Twitter allows professional educators to help each other through such an unexpected time. For example, teachers are sharing their ideas on ways to help their students through this pandemic. Some educators can be lost during times like this. Twitter allows teachers to build a community that can potentially help them figure out solutions to their dilemmas.
Overall, being active on Twitter helped me attain more knowledge about the education world and made me realize how creative teachers really are. To add on, being active on Twitter has made me more aware of what I can do as a future educator during times like this. I will be able to implement some of the unique ideas that were presented and use them for my future classroom. Ultimately, Twitter is an amazing platform with an abundance of resources that can help professional educators share thoughts and opinions, communicate, and collaborate to create a better education experience for their students.
